Supply Chain Information Portal (SCIP) of Directorate General of Family Planning (DGFP) has a Dashboard which allows monitoring of procurement packages. Main features of Procurement Tracker are - tracking of procurement milestones, provides information about any delay in procurement process, presents the current status of all packages in a single place. The procurement tracker is only accessible to registered users. Anyone can register and view the information presented in procurement tracker.

The Dashboard allows anyone to assess the natoinal contraceptive balance, stock status at different levels & consumption trend of major contraceptives. Data entry is done from 21 regional warehouses of DGFP every month and uploaded to SCIP web portal. The LMIS dashboard is only accessible to registered users. Anyone can register and view the information presented in LMIS dashboard.

The country was put on high alert Sunday 5th Sept 2010 as the bacterial disease continued to spread between animals and people.
